PPT Files Title IX Complaints Against Two More Ohio School Districts
- November 13, 2025
Dayton and Three Rivers schools are the latest exposed by undercover reporters.
Today, government watchdog Protect the Public’s Trust (PPT) announced it has filed complaints against two more Ohio school districts for potential violations of Title IX. Investigative reporters caught officials at Dayton and Three Rivers school districts appearing to assist male students to participate in girls’ sports.
These most recent complaints mark the fifth and sixth requests for investigations into Ohio schools for apparent violations of Title VI and Title IX based upon videos posted by Accuracy In Media (AIM). Early in the Trump administration, the President issued Executive Order 14201, which directs executive agencies to withhold funding to schools which permit biological males to deprive girls of opportunities in athletics or do not protect girls in locker rooms.
In addition, the activities documented by AIM may also run afoul of Ohio state law. In 2023, Ohio passed a law banning students from using school bathrooms and locker rooms of the opposite sex. The law uses the sex identified “at or near the time of the individual’s birth.”
AIM filmed an official from Dayton Public School District saying, “So if it was legally changed then, obviously, we would just go with whatever the birth certificate states.” Another official stated, “We do have transgenders that do participate in our area,” adding that she would not disclose the prospective student’s true gender, saying it would be kept “in house.” At Three Rivers Schools, AIM filmed two officials appearing to assist in bypassing the athletics policy preventing males from participating in girls’ sports.
“Another day, another set of Ohio schools still peddling discriminatory ideology, apparently in violation of both state law and Title IX,” PPT Director Michael Chamberlain said. “This ideology is so deeply ingrained in schools, even in communities vehemently opposed to it, that it’s being imposed on families without consent. If state law doesn’t stop it, maybe federal investigations will.”
