WASHINGTON (Legal Newsline) – A federal watchdog filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) inspector general against the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and asked for an investigation into alleged scientific integrity violations.

In its complaint, Protect the Public’s Trust (PPT) accuses the CDC of politicizing science and refusing to track known serious side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine.

“There is a whole list, such as myocarditis, pericarditis, anaphylaxis, and other severe side effects that are associated with these vaccines, which they didn’t put on the list, and they’re essentially not able to track,” said Michael Chamberlain, PPT’s director.

V-safe, the CDC’s vaccine wellness tracking application, only lists mild side effects, such as chills, headache, joint pains, muscle or body aches, fatigue or tiredness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and rash, according to the complaint.
